Italian charms are a fun and stylish way to accessorize your look and express your interests. Flat, stainless steel interlocking links hook together to create a one of a kind bracelet, keychain, or watch.  Instead of dangling charms, Italian charms are soldered or glued to these flat links creating a sleek and sophisticated look. Links can be easily unhooked and reconfigured or replaced to suit your mood.

The three main types of Italian Charms are Laser, Enamel and Photo.

How They Work

A starter bracelet consists of eighteen blank links. In order to create a personalized Italian charm bracelet, these blank links are replaced, one by one, with selected designs of Italian charms. Their modular design means that Italian charm bracelets are interchangeable. Individual pieces can be switched out for a new look or to better suit the mood or changing interests of an individual.

Every Custom Charm attaches perfectly with other same-size brands of Italian charm, including:  Zoppini, Nomination, Talexia, Puzzle, Roma, Italia, Passavinti, Ryry, Unodomani, ReFlorence, Boxing, Pugster, D'linq, etc. 

How They Are Worn

Italian charm bracelets are designed by each individual to suit tastes and reflect personality. A bracelet may be made up entirely of Italian charms or an alternating pattern of Italian charms and blank links.

Sizes of  Italian Charms We Carry

	9mm Photo Italian Charms 9mm is the most common size of Italian charm.  Photo charms have actual digital, photographic images glued onto the face of a charm. This style can also be customized to include, for example, family photos.
	18mm Mega Photo Italian Charms Mega charms are twice the width and height of a standard charm. This style of charm can hook two standard 9mm bracelets together.
	18mm Uno-Mega Photo Italian Charms This style of Mega charm is made to be attached to one standard 9mm bracelet.
	9mm Mid-Link Photo Italian Charms Mid-links are 12mm x 15mm  charms that link with standard 9mm and superlink charms!  Larger than a 9mm but small than a Mega, this size is becoming extremely popular!!
	Premium Large 9mm Photo Italian Charms With a raised base and flat top these large 9mm charms are made exclusively for photographs.   They attach to all standard 9mm bracelets.
	Premium Mega Photo Italian Charms This  Premium Mega Charm has a raised base and flat top and is made exclusively for photographs.  Hooks 2 standard 9mm bracelets together.
	9mm Super link Photo Italian Charms The Super Link Italian charm is twice as wide as the standard Italian charm. With the same height, the look is a long horizontal piece. The charm is the size of two standard charms linked together, but it is one solid piece and can be linked with standard sized Italian charms.

How many links do I need for a bracelet?

The 9mm sized bracelet features eighteen links. Since the sizes are consistent across brands, your charms will always be compatible. Italian charm bracelets are adjustable, so you can add or remove links for a perfect fit. The following size chart is a good guideline for 9mm size charms:

Toddler: 13 links, 5 inches in length
Child: 14 links, 5 1/4 inches in length
Youth: 15 links, 5 3/4 inches in length
Petite: 16 links, 6 1/4 inches in length
Small: 17 links, 6 1/2 inches in length
Medium: 18 links, 7 inches in length
Large: 19 links, 7 1/4 inches in length
Extra Large: 20 links, 7 3/4 inches in length
Long: 21 links, 8 inches in length
 

Are Italian charms only for women?

Italian charms are for everyone! Children love creating their own, and since they are durable kids can wear them daily. Men are also wearing Italian charm bracelets. More and more masculine styles have been designed and are available. Key chains and cell phone straps are also stylish choices for men.

So, how do I get started?

You can begin with a starter bracelet which consists of the standard eighteen blank links. Add your charms to the starter as you collect, replacing blank links to create your own look. Or, you can simply select the number of Italian charms to make an entire bracelet tailored to your personality!

Cleaning and caring for your Italian Charm Bracelet:

Caring for your Italian charm bracelet is easy! By taking a few simple steps you can ensure a long life for your Italian charm collection. Italian charms made from high quality stainless steel should not tarnish with daily wear. However, oils from your skin and exposure to dirt or even hairspray will eventually dull the appearance of charms. As with all jewelry, charms are easiest to keep looking great if you clean them on a regular basis.

What to Do:

• Clean your charms by gently wiping them with a soft cleaning cloth. Doing this once a week will keep grime off of your jewelry and maintain its sparkle and gleam. A simple jewelry polishing cloth is perfect for this purpose.
• When you are not wearing your charm bracelet, store it in a separate container from other jewelry. This will prevent the charms from rubbing against other jewelry and becoming scratched. Try storing your charms in either plastic zip lock bags or soft jewelry bags.

What to Avoid:

• Avoid showering or swimming while wearing your Italian charm bracelet.
• Keep your charms away from chemicals or cleaning solvents. For example, it is a good idea to remove your bracelet when you wash dishes.
• Remove your bracelet while participating in sports. Italian charms are durable but avoiding any rough contact will preserve the life of your bracelet.
• Take special care when wearing, or cleaning, dangling charm bracelets. The dangling pieces are strongly adhered to the charm, but remain especially delicate. Handle with extra care to avoid damage to these fun styles.
